Ingredients:

Ginger Cookies recipe picture 1For some reason one of those spices I have always associated with Christmas time is ginger. Maybe it's the gingerbread houses people build, or just one of those types of cookies people make for the holidays. This is a really simple recipe, and the first time I made it.

Ingredients:
- 1.5 c. Flour
- 0.5 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 0.5 tsp. Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp. Ground Ginger (I decided to spice things up and went with fresh ginger and 1 tsp of that)
- 0.5 c. Sugar
- 1/3 c. Shortening
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp. Vinegar (I used Apple Cider)
- 1/3 c. Milk
- 0.25 c. Molasses

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 5:

Step 6:

Step 7:
